Born and raised in Arizona, Amy moved with her family to Sacramento, California, where she got her first job working in a veterinary hospital.

Amy attended Western Carrier College and received her A.S. Degree in veterinary Technology in 2002. After some time in North Carolina and Utah, Amy moved to Nashville in 2009. She joined the Belmont Animal Hospital team in October, 2013.

When Amy is not at work, her days are filled with chasing her toddler around and creating stained glass.
