Jenny
Jenny was born and raised in Michigan. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Technology from Michigan State University and became a Licensed Veterinary Technologist in 2006.
Jenny moved to Nashville in 2012 with her Texas heeler dog, Roper, to join the Belmont Animal Hospital Team.
Jenny enjoys outdoor activities and jewelry making. She loves live music and dancing and living in Music City.
Chelsea
Chelsea was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA, and moved to Nashville with her fiancé in July of 2012.
Chelsea earned her Specialized Technology Degree from the Vet Tech Institute of Pittsburgh in 2010. She has had animals since she was a little girl and now lives at her new home with a crazy Malamute/Norwegian Elkhound mix and a hyper Beagle/German Shepherd youngster.
Amy
Born and raised in Arizona, Amy moved with her family to Sacramento, California, where she got her first job working in a veterinary hospital.
Amy attended Western Carrier College and received her A.S. Degree in veterinary technology in 2002. After some time in North Carolina and Utah, Amy moved to Nashville in 2009. She joined the Belmont Animal Hospital team in October, 2013.
When Amy is not at work, her days are filled with chasing her toddler around and creating stained glass.
Melody
Melody has been with us at Belmont since 2013. Caring for animals has always been her passion. In her spare time, Melody likes to go to concerts and binge watch Netlix with her dog, Storm.
Rebecca
Becca was raised just south of Chicago. She showed everyone her love of animals from
a very young age.
In 2015, she graduated Murray State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Veterinary Technology, receiving her license a few months later.
Becca moved to Tennessee in 2016 and joined the BAH team and couldn't be happier! In her free time, Becca enjoys rollerblading, playing piano, and frisbee golfing. She comes home every evening to play with her mischief of pet rats.
Zach
Born in Atlanta, Georgia, and raised in Lebanon, Tennessee. Zach is a MTSU graduate who is currently pursuing continuing education at Volunteer State University to achieve a degree in Veterinary Technology.
Zach inherited his love for animals, being outdoors and the wilderness from his parents. Due to his busy schedule, Zach does not have a pet at this time but looks forward to adopting an amazing dog of his own in the future!
Rachel
Rachel was born in Florida but calls Charlotte, NC, her home. She grew up working with horses and various types of wildlife including reptiles and birds of prey.
After attending nursing school, Rachel felt called to pursue a career working with animals.
In her free time Rachel enjoys playing violin, writing music and spending time with her Jack Russell mix, Butterbean.
Sarah
After working at another hospital for two and half years, Sarah came to Belmont in
September 2016. She had just graduated from Columbia state's veterinary technology
program in May. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her two corgis
and gardening.
Rachael
Rachael was born and raised in Wisconsin. She attained her A.A.S. in veterinary technology from Madison College in Madison, Wisconsin in 2014 and has been working as a licensed technician since she graduated. She made the move to Nashville in 2015 after completing 450 mile solo hike on the Ice Age National Scenic Trail, and loves the city. In her spare time she can be found hiking throughout Tennessee with her 2 dogs, Gunner and Christy, or listening to live music in the city!
Jana
Jana was born and raised in the western suburbs of Chicago, IL. She started her undergraduate studies in Northern Arizona where she got her first job at a veterinary hospital. Quickly learning that this was her passion, Jana started taking classes though a veterinary technician distance program. Early in 2018, she and her fiancé moved to Nashville and began working at Belmont Animal Hospital. In her free time she loves exploring nature with her two doggies. Bella, a Basenji mix. And Clover a Heeler/Terrier mix.
Stephanie
Stephanie was born and raised in Baltimore, MD. She has always been passionate
about animals and her life goal is to become a Veterinarian. Stephanie came to
Nashville in 2015 and earned her B.S. in Biology from Lipscomb University in May of
2019. She is currently taking graduate classes at Lipscomb and working towards her
master’s degree before applying to Vet schools next summer. While she doesn’t have
pets in Nashville, Stephanie enjoys visiting her home to see her cats Jordan and Ariel.
Lesli
Lesli was born and raised in Nashville, TN. She attained her B.A in history from the University of TN in 2003 and soon after followed her passion for working with animals. She went on to graduate with an A.A.S in veterinary technology from Penn Foster in 2013.
She joined Belmont team in May 2019 and couldn’t be more excited.
In her spare time you can find her kayaking down the river or living it up at music festivals.
