Dr. Sarah Zika is a Nashville native and happy to be working in the Belmont community close to friends and family since 2014. Her undergraduate biology studies at the University of Richmond led to a two-year Peace Corps service in West Africa, where she developed an interest in veterinary public health and infectious diseases. She completed her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine and Master of Public Health in Knoxville at the University of Tennessee in 2007. Dr. Zika's professional interests include geriatric patient care and preventive medicine. She enjoys exploring the human-animal bond and finding ways in which we can improve patient comfort and quality of life. Outside of practice, she enjoys spending her free time with her family and dog, practicing yoga, and as often as possible, hiking the local trails.
